#Arrow S01E15 - “Dodger”
Felicity tells Oliver he’s all work and no play, so he asks Detective McKenna on a date. A jewel thief named Dodger hits Starling City and targets someone very close to Oliver.
The episodes that they have had since the back nine started have been different from previous. Whilst the ones before were quite standalone and overall mythology they have tried different things with the past two. Last weeks was the flashback, and this week was a episode dedicated to the relationships of the characters.
Not saying that it wasn’t good, it was just different. The relationship part of the episodes kinda made the overall story/villain suffer though. Little things like the Dodger just going to the gala and taking the jewel, even though it was established that he usually lets other people do the dirty work, and also you know, it’s a priceless jewel, wouldn’t someone be there guarding it?
Having Felicity on the team gives the team a bit of heart. Whilst Diggle was the conscience of the team before, he and Oliver are pretty much the same, only with differing views on some things. What Felicity adds is the emotion of everything. She sees the background of things as opposed to the surface. It’s a good mix, and with Roy Harper coming into the show, the team will eventually be a four piece. I just hope that they don’t add him too soon, as I think we need to have time for the current team to gel.
